Twitter introduces mandatory verification for advertisers

As Twitter’s traditional blue check mark system reaches its conclusion, the social media platform’s newly introduced paid verification process is causing quite the chaos. Starting April 21, verified check marks will be necessary for brands running ads on Twitter. Unless they’re spending over $1,000 a month, that is.
