Andy Makridis, former CIA chief operating officer, joins DXC Technology as top public sector advisor

DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC ), a Fortune 500 leading global technology services provider, has appointed Andy Makridis , previously director of operations at the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), as a public sector advisor.

Makridis’ deep expertise and leadership skills will further strengthen DXC’s engagement with clients in the public sector, an area where DXC has long had extensive partnerships with clients. Today’s announcement underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to helping public sector clients innovate while focusing on outcomes that better support this important sector. Makridis will report to Chris Drumgoole , managing director, global infrastructure services.

Throughout his career, Makridis has played a critical role in improving national security efforts and developing innovative strategies to combat new threats. He served 37 years at the CIA, including four years as director of operations.
